Is it possible for you to modify this study so that it can reference a Daily Chart (as an option) instead of the Intraday chart it is installed on? Ie just like the functionality of the Pivot Points - Daily study. This means I could have Weekly and Monthly pivots on my intraday chart that are based on exchange based Settlement prices. It also means I do not have to have such a large number of days of Intraday data downloaded for my Intraday charts. I know I can achieve this by running the Pivot study on the Daily chart and then overlaying the output to the Intraday chart. But that just seems a bit inefficient. Given the code is already in the Pivot - Daily study I am assuming it would not be too hard for you to copy the code to the Pivot - Variable Period study. http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/PivotPoints.html#223 Thanks |

This is not easy at all. It has a lot of complexity and would likely lead to several bugs that would have to be later corrected. It is not something we are willing to do.
