I am using the FXCM Fix setting in SIM mode and put on a Long position with 2 attached limit orders and 1 matching stop order before going out and the PC went to sleep. On return and waking the PC the stop order and 1st limit order had been ignored even though price went through them both and it filled immediately on the 2nd limit order. Trying another example I initiated a position then switched to another ticker on the quoteboard and the same thing happened, this time it also opened a short position with no attached orders. It seems to work fine when I have the active ticker DOM/charts open. Is this a general issue with Sierra software in that for orders to trigger the active ticker must be kept open/streaming or is it specific to the FXCM fix/SIM and if so is there a setting to work around? |

Refer to: Trade Simulation: Trade Simulation When Disconnected from Server Also, the chart the order has been entered from, has to remain open and be set to the same symbol for the orders to continue to work in simulation mode. All of this is documented on that page. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. Try to keep your questions brief and to the point.
