I have a chartbook set up with a quote board for futures symbols. The data is continuous for all symbols except CL. I downloaded the latest version. Right-clicked before the data gap and delete and download all data for all charts. I had tech support from the broker try to correct to no avail. Also deleted the contract from the quote board and added in again. How do I get continuous data or get the data for this gap? I also opened a new chart book and added CL symbol and the data fills in correctly. Is there a cache I need to clear? First support post, so not sure if wording correctly

JC, please try this.

1. Close the program
2. Go this folder and delete all files ending in ".SCID" that have CL in the title, like CLU6.SCID: C:/SierraChart/SierraChartTransActMA/Data/
3. Log back in.

Did it work?

infpz, thank you! I was about to delete anything with CL in it from my data folder. Your reply confirmed my thoughts. I only deleted the .scid files for CL and now I have complete data. Thanks again. Case Closed

Do not use this command unless you really want to delete and download data for all charts but it is not recommended.

The proper procedure to solve the problem you had is documented here:

There should not be a need to delete the files directly.
