Hi, I haven't installed a new version since 1309 cause it was totally stable for me with all my programmed studies. I wanted now to test the latest SC version but it seems you made a downloader installer and there are no current full builds. This is a huge problem cause I have 10 installed instances, and every time I update SC I download an installer and I have an auto script that does all the work. Now it seems I need to run this installer 10 times... choose each folder (10 times)... it will download the needed same files (10 times)... and will close after each installer (10 times)... which I need to run again (yes, 10 times). I understand the benefits of such a tool, but please add support to select multiple installation folders cause this is a pain. And if a build gives me problems? this process will start all over just to get a previous build version... 10 times :-\ That's way too much babysitting. |

You will need to write a command line batch file that copies the Sierra Chart executable files from one installation to your other 9 installations. These are the folders and files that you will need to copy: ACS_Source
Graphics NPP Rim icudt52.dll icuin52.dll icuuc52.dll Qt5Core.dll SierraChart.exe SierraChartStudies.dll SpreadsheetFileConverter.exe When using the new File >> New Instance feature, those instances are updated automatically by Sierra Chart. Refer to: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_DTCServer.php#UsingDTCServerForDataAndTradingInAnotherSCInstance Also the new installer has command line parameters to specify the installation folder and auto start the installation. We will try to get these documented soon. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users.
