Use the Point and Figure Bar setting in Chart >> Chart Settings:

We do not know what you are doing to cause those X's to display. It does not appear as though you are using either the Chart Setting or the Point and Figure Chart study.

That is not how you do it.

You need to use
Chart >> Chart Settings >> Intraday Chart Bar Period >> Bar Period Type .

Chart >> Chart Settings >> Intraday Chart Bar Period >> Bar Period Type

to Point and Figure Bar.
