I remembered in builds previously I was playing back at 10,000x? What happened? Is there a way I can play it back faster? My machine can handle it.

Yes. Manually type in a number in the Speed box. You can use any speed up to 100000.

I tried 10000 and 100000 and it definitely does not replay at that speed. I'm using the Accurate Trading System Back Test Mode that is playing for two chart books one 60min and other is 5min. I have the 'Processing Steps in Seconds set to 1'. Each 5min bar takes about 9 seconds to complete running at 100000x speed, which can't be right.

We would have to check but the speed setting may not actually be relevant when using Accurate Trading System Back Test Mode for multiple charts. In any case, there is going to be a certain maximum speed achievable and setting the Speed higher is not going to help. How many charts in the Chartbook? Sorry, I used the word chartooks wrong and does not make sense. I have 1 chartbook that has two tabs, one 5min and one 60min. when I do a replay with 'Accurate Trading System Back Test Mode' and 'Processing Steps in Seconds set to 1' it is very slow. I'm running the latest version 996.

Are you back testing a Spreadsheet trading system. It does sound as though it is too slow.

Yes I am. I'm backtesting a Spreadsheet trading system. I've been running it through the entire night and it's only gone through one month. During the replay the tabs say '100000.0X: ESM3 60min'...etc. And my CPU usage on my computer is no where to being maxed out or the memory.

Anyone else getting this? I can't believe I'm the only one? My friend and two of my machines do the same thing.

Yes, we did get this. We will have to get your Chartbook you are working with and the spreadsheet file referenced by the Spreadsheet System for Trading study in order to test this. The Chartbook has a CHT extension. The spreadsheet has a extension SCWBF . Here are the instructions to attach them: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/PostingInformation.php#AttachFile We will see if anything can be done, but if not and that is probably what we will find, then you need to increase the Processing Step in Seconds to a higher value. Multi-chart back testing is going to be time-consuming due to how it is done. It will be faster to uncheck For All Charts in Chartbook. More information about this can be found here: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/doc_Backtesting.php#BackTestingMultipleCharts Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. We had a chance to review how multi-chart back tests work. It has been sometime since this was programmed. There will be some speed improvements in the next release and we will see how to improve this further.
