I have 3 things that I am struggling with if I could get some help: If I put the bund, for example, on GG# for a rolling daily chart I stop getting a live feed. It seems to drop into a historical only mode. That means the only way to get a "live" daily chart is to have it on GGU16 and then I need another chart for historical. Is there a way to combine the 2 and have GG# live? 2. How do I get a weekly Market Profile up? 3. How do I get a pit only session for the spoo (ES#) on a daily chart? Thanks Dan |

1. You need to use the Continuous Futures Contract feature: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_ContinuousFuturesContractCharts.html Do not use the # in a symbol. It is not reliable. 2. Refer to the documentation here: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_TPOVolProfileCharts.html 3. Once again do not use the # in a symbol. The use of this should not be documented anywhere. Follow these instructions: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_SessionTimes.php#DaySessionOnlyDaily Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. For the instructions to create Daily chart bars that consist of the day session only, this is documented clearly step-by-step here: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_SessionTimes.php#DaySessionOnlyDaily When you say market profile do you mean TPO profile charts? Or do you mean Volume Profiles? Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. Try to keep your questions brief and to the point. It is important to follow through the step-by-step instructions for the Volume by Price study: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_VolumeByPrice.php And the TPO profile chart study: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_TPOVolProfileCharts.html To understand how they work. Once that is done, to set the Volume by Price study to weekly volume profiles requires changing these inputs: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_VolumeByPrice.php#InputVolumeGraphPeriodType (set to Multiple Profiles Fixed by Time) https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_VolumeByPrice.php#InputTimePeriodTypeForFixedTime (Set to Weeks) The setup instructions for the TPO Profile Chart study have been updated to explain how to do weekly TPO profiles.
