I know I used to have a range of data much further back . It seems I'm limited to about 5 years now. I need about 8 years to draw proper monthly channels etc. And I really need intraday for trading hours only. Has something changed? Or what Am I doing incorrectly? To overcome the single digit year limitation with TransAct, install another copy of Sierra Chart on your system and use the Sierra Chart Historical Data Service. Here is the complete documentation for this: Sierra Chart Historical Data Service You can then open the longer-term charts in that copy of Sierra Chart. If I were to create a separate instance for historical using the sierra data feed, will I be required to purchase another connection? That is, I'm using transact trading on current instance. I would use Sierra Hisotrical Data for second and run them both on the same computer at the same time. Date Time Of Last Edit: 2016-07-02 13:38:19

No you do not have to pay anything extra for this. If this were the case, we would have already indicated what that would be. I would use Sierra Hisotrical Data for second and run them both on the same computer at the same time.
Yes this is correct.
