Scaling in / out functionality when trading from Trade DOM does not work seamlessly at all times. Initially it does not work and then as prices moves enough; it then starts working. And then again, once flat - it stops working. On some products; it just does not work. Will please appreciate help. |

Follow through the documentation here: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_AttachedOrders.html#ScalingOut Also uncheck Global Settings >> General Trade Settings >> Use Server-Side OCO and Bracket Orders. You must disable that option. That might not be the problem but it has to be disabled as to rule it out as the problem. It could be that the CQG server does not support modification of the OCO orders. After doing both of the above if there still is a problem we need to see the lines in the Trade Activity Log for the related orders. 1. Use Server-Side OCO and Bracket Orders - this is unchecked 2. Documentation is observed sharply 3. I am also ruling out CQG issues since it is working after a enough move by the product - so CQG cannot be blamed for partial working of the functionality. What else do you think could be impacting this functionality all the time? |

If there still is a problem we need to see the lines in the Trade Activity Log for the Attached Orders and the Scale In or Out order. Here are instructions: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_TradeActivityLog.php#TradeActivityLogToSupport We need to be told what is the order that you intended to be the order to scale in or out the Position and Attached Orders. We also need to know what you expected to happen. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. Also the best way to test this is to use Trade Simulation Mode: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_TradeSimulation.php See if you can duplicate the problem this way first.
