If I make a trade inside Interactive Broker's Traders Workstation, how do I have that trade show up in Sierra Charts? In other words, have Traders Workstation send trade data to SC. I know this is possible, I just forgot how to do it. Thanks

This is controlled through the Instance Client ID setting. Refer to step 18 here: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/InteractiveBrokers.php#SetupInstructions Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. I read the instructions and my Instance Client ID is already set to 0. But do I have to do anything inside of SC to see the positions from TWS? I placed a trade in TWS but it does not show up in the Trade Activity Log, Trade Stats for Charts or on any of the charts. Thanks.

Nothing else. As long as you are on a current version this is the only thing because the newer version support the account number field in the order updates from TWS. If it still does not work, we are not willing to provide further help with this. As a matter of policy what you are doing is not guaranteed to work for reasons which are not within our control. One last question. When attempting to do this, do you know where I find the positions in SC? Wiil the positions appear on the chart, or Trade Stats for Charts calculations or somewhere else? I'm not sure where to look. Thanks again.

Positions will be displayed on the Trade Window for a chart and also in the Trade >> Trade Orders and Positions >> Positions tab. The Positions tab is the definite reference for Trade Position data.

I now see the position in the positions tab so I know SC is receiving the data, but I do not see the positions in the trade window. Is this a matter that is beyond the scope of your support as you mentioned?
