Rockwell uses for their template 8 ticks breakout bars for the ES. How do I program Breakout Bars?

Are you referring to 8 tick Range bars?

These are Range bars. You just need to select Chart >> Chart Settings and use the Range Per Bar-Standard setting. This is documented here: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_ChartSettings.html#RangeBarStandard Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. The Daily Range Average requires a Daily chart in the chartbook that has the Bar Difference study, and a SMA based on it. Here is a chartbook example with the full setup: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/AdditionalFiles.php Go to #22. |
