Have a live SC account, and a live (non demo) LMAX account. Trading my LMAX acct via SC has been authorised and is running fine. However, I was using SC yesterday in the Trading SIM mode so I can set set up basic targets/lot sizes etc. SC instructions on lot size seems to be way off. E.g. for currencies, using your sums, "A quantity of 1 entered within Sierra Chart, is equivalent to LMAX quantity of 0.1." So we are on the same page, an LMAX quantity of 1 for currencies = 1 USD if trading eur/usd or gb/usd. Using your sums, that means entering a lot size of 10 on SC is the equivalent of $1 on LMAX. However, when entering lot sizes on the trade window in SC and then opening a SIM trade, it appears that it is necessary to enter in a lot size of 10,000 to equal LMAX $1. So an open trade showing up on the chart window shows a position of 10k. Clearly this is VERY different to your instructions, and considering the rather large size of 10000 in SC, I am looking to check what is going on/what is the correct figure. As such, LMAX have set up a demo acct for me to trade through so I can see what shows up on their side so I can work out the lot sizes. I am not able to connect to it via SC and am not sure why. I have sent you the log message showing the error messages that come up. Regards, Bootsy |

A quantity of 10 in Sierra Chart when using LMAX is equal to the standard lot size on LMAX, which is: 1 contract = 10k Minimum quantity size & increments = 0.1 contracts (1k) So in Sierra Chart one LMAX contract is entered as 10. .1 contract will be 1. However, when entering lot sizes on the trade window in SC and then opening a SIM trade, it appears that it is necessary to enter in a lot size of 10,000 to equal LMAX $1. So an open trade showing up on the chart window shows a position of 10k.
Not sure how you are coming to this conclusion but definitely do not use a quantity of 10000. We need to know your LMAX demo account number. Send it to us through an Account Support Ticket: https://www.sierrachart.com/usercp.php?page=SupportTickets We will then have LMAX add it to the demo order routing connection.
