OK. Just as an FYI, I rolled my charts for ZB,ZF,ZN from Jun (M6) to Sep (U6)via the usual method I have used since the "update chart drawings to current symbol" was first introduced (I believe it was version 1161 or thereabout) - Adjust data with appropriate amount using Edit>Adjust Data>Add/Subtract amount Exit Rename data file to next front-month data code Start Go to chart and reset symbol to the new month, e.g., ZNU6 Adjust chart drawings by appropriate add/subtract amount used above Chart>update chart drawings to current symbol File>connect to data feed I followed these steps and all my chart drawings are still showing the old "M6" mo/yr code instead of "U6" |

The proper way to do rollovers is to use the Continuous Futures Contract feature: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_ContinuousFuturesContractCharts.html It is the far better way of doing it than the old method. We determined the problem with updating the symbols of Chart Drawings and that is now fixed. We will have a new release out today. OK, thanks for providing fix later. As for continuous contract, that's fine for daily charts from SC feed but does not work on intraday charts with OEC data feed |

The Continuous Futures Contract feature works with all Data and Trading services including OEC. It is extensively used by our users without problem. So we are not sure how you are coming to this conclusion. Just follow through the instructions and most importantly since you have been using the old method, when you start using the new method, you need to fully re-download the data for all contract months following the instructions here: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_ContinuousFuturesContractCharts.html#ReDownloading This feature has been under development now for more than two years and is very well refined and debugged.
