I want to create a drawing tool or modify an existing one and have it show in the list of possible draing object in the menu system. How does one do this? For example, I want to take the existing Pitchfork tool, and expand it's capabilities to draw additional line. To accomplish this, I would need to read / get the 3 points used to create the instance of the fork, and then use those in my calculations. I am thinking I want to do this as a tool vs indicator, so when I move / adjust the fork location on the chart, all lines original and my added ones will be redrawn in the correct locations. This is not supported. Thanks for the quick reply. I presume the answer is no, to both creating a new tool as well as modifying / enhancing an existing tool. If that is the case, is this ability planned? If so, is there a section of the forums / board that shows requested features and extimated build they will be in? You can create drawing tools but not ones which would be listed on the menu. They are ones that could be used through Control Bar buttons.
