hello SC, is there a way to bring a certain window into focus with a keyboard shortcut? i am thinking about buying a programmable keyboard for my trading and would need something like that as i am trading off of 4 DoMs on the monitor and do not want to fiddle with a mouse in order to bring that window into focus. i was more thinking about sending the event to focus the particular window PLUS the event to fire an order at the same time, if such a shortcut exists. any advise (or a better solution) is highly appreciated. thanks, Andreas |

No, this is not supported but there may be external programs that could help with this. Have a look at Auto Hot Key.

Although this is supported: PLUS the event to fire an order at the same time, if such a shortcut exists.

yeah, i was aware of the trading keyboard shortcuts but i wanted to trade multiple dom's, hence the question. however, i've found a way to do that (sort of). i am using ctrl+w to bring up the "windows and chartbooks" window and then use arrow keys to locate the desired window, then enter and then i do fire the desired action. as that keyboard allows all sorts of things, the coding of it may take some time but once this is done, i can live with it. it's a little iffy, but does the trick. maybe one day you could add a shortcut which expects a number + enter and when pressed plus number and enter, you focus the respective window. its no high priority, though.. or, alternatively, make trading shortcut window specific (like you did with the colors 'n' stuff), that would also do the trick. thanks, Andreas |
