Hi, I´m sending you my Message Log through the "Send for Analysis" button. I´m having datafeed connection problems (amp/ttnet), now it´s happening more often than before. Mostly mondays, and sometimes also on other weekdays. Sometimes it helps to reboot the router and the pc, I tried that several times today, but still wasn´t able to connect until after 8.30 p.m. (brussels timezone). This problem only occurs with my main internet provider. Speedtest for this provider shows normal results, all websites and other applications are accessible, only Sierrachart won´t connect to ttnet with this provider. Using any of my 3 backup providers, no problems connecting. Once connected, this normally is my most stable and fastest connection. |

You need to reduce the number of days to load in Chart >> Chart Settings. Your account does not allow downloading of continuous futures contract data that far back in time. As I already said, I don´t have any connection issues at all using any of my other Internet providers. The problem only occurs with one Internet provider (Unfortunately, this provider offers the most stable connection, once SC is actually connected). Reducing the number of days to load doesn´t help. Also, I have two SC accounts, the AMP account, and a second account paid one year in advance. Even if I only pull up one chart window with one intraday chart, I can´t connect with this provider (normal speedtest results, any other software will run). Are there possibly any router settings I could change to avoid this problem? I tried setting a static IP address, also turned off the virus scanner and windows firewall, didn´t help. The weird thing is that SC will eventually connect using this provider, either after rebooting both router and pc several times, or simply after waiting several hours. |

We said that to solve this problem: YM-201606-CBOT [CBV] Weekly #4 | Error while getting daily open price with date 1989-09-10 from file. C:\SierraChart.AMP\Data\YMZ89.dly. Error: Windows error code 2: Das System kann die angegebene Datei nicht finden.
We cannot help with networking issues. From our perspective all we know is the connection is getting blocked based upon the error message. Have you asked your ISP if they are blocking or throttling the particular ports being used? One of the ports is 10501 Have you tried using CQG? In the next two months, we are going to be offering our own futures order routing service which can be used with any broker. Hopefully, that will give you good connectivity in case you are interested in using it. We do not think any of this is relevant. Our best guess is that the ISP is throttling the particular port numbers used by the FIX adapter. It can´t have anything to do with that error message (weekly chart). As I said, even if I run a setup with only one intraday chart and only load one day, I still can´t connect through this provider. I´ll talk to the Internet provider, maybe they can help. |

At this time it does not appear so. So no probably not for AMP customers but perhaps that would change. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
