vs 1379 This would be categorized as a Minor Pain in the Ass, but something I never noticed before. I don't recall it ever happening so as the response would be "That's the way the charts operate". I'll try to explain the best I can. I'm on 1 sec chart. Scale range is automatic. Zoomed to the point that each 2 tics are showing in scale (ie:(.50)...2063.50,2064.00,etc). Market opens, and as is typ, the bars show and charts scroll right. Now, I am now out of my trade, so time for analysis of the day. I use the "handtool" to move the chart "left" back towards beginning of my trade about 10 minutes before. Now the new bars are out of site (not showing on the screen) as they come up. I can now study the bars and info. What happened today (real time) as the market made New Lows, my bars started disappearing/moving up on the screen. In other words, if I was at the current bars, obviously as the New Lows happened, the chart screen would move down with the current bars to keep them in view, and the bars that are out of the current range would disappear. But that shouldn't happen when I scrolled back to an earlier time? The page/screen should stay where I scrolled to. I had to keep "pulling" down the bars with the handtool to keep them in site. Like I said, I cant say it didn't happen before or in previous versions. I would assume after trading for years, I would have noticed as the market made new lows (or highs) that this happened. I could always just "disconnect", and this wouldn't happen, but I wouldn't want to toggle back and forth. I hope this wasn't too confusing. |
