I currently use Sierra Chart and CTS platforms with the same CTS T4 feed with the same login credentials, since I trade both futures and futures options. There are some features and markets that CQG has that CTS does not however, and was wondering if I can also use Sierra and say, Qtrader from CGQ on the same machine with the same login credentials as I do with CTS now ? I searched some for this but it wasn't clear. Thanks |

You are going to need the 2nd username to accomplish that. CQG charges $10 per any additional username and also exchange data fees apply per each username. As well most of the FCMs will set only one private label for CQG username, so you can either run Sierra or a CQG front-end with a specific username.

Thanks for your reply. I do not understand what you mean one white label per username, but I take it to mean that one login credential will not work on multiple platforms, even if on the same computer? Right now CTS charges $25/mo platform fee and 50c routing fee per contract per side which I do not like Qtrader charges $40/mo I believe and 25c per contract per side routing fee so at 30 RT's they are the same cost. Over 30 and Qtrader becomes cheaper. The added cost of another login would quickly become moot after a few days of trading |

Regarding this, this feature here can help avoid the additional username under certain conditions: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_DTCServer.php#UsingDTCServerForDataAndTradingInAnotherSCInstance Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Yes. You'll be paying $10 per 2nd username and $15 for non-pro CME bundle monthly (plus any additional exchanges) to CQG. If you want to be able to run multiple platforms with the same username and avoid those extra fees, you have to find an FCM who can setup multiple private labels for your username. But you can't run multiple platforms with the same CQG username concurrently. As well advise in post #5 can help you to set up multiple Sierra instances using only one username.

Post #5 seems to discuss using data from one Sierra instance to feed another Sierra instance. I'm not sure if/how this could be used with a CQG platform feeding or receiving the same data Post #6 is of interest but since I also trade options, I need a platform that will do that, preferably on a DOM. |

No, it is not relevant in this particular case. Only providing additional information which is related.Futures options? We can add support for futures option through CTS. We are planning that. Here's a semi-related question, if one has let's say CQG w/ QTrader via an FCM, can they use a non-private label (outright subscription) version of SC with the CQG feed (but not concurrently with QTrader)?
