For users using Sierra Chart through an affiliate, the additional cost is 10 USD. So the total price for the data feed will be 25 USD/Month + 3.25/Month for the index exchange fee. We could reduce this for the index only feed, but this is not so simple for us to do right now. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. So right now it would cost me $28.25/mo, although you may be able to reduce that in the future? Is that correct?

Yes this is correct. We will see if we can modify the price to 5 USD additional, but we probably cannot get to this until next week.

I see. Well, I do appreciate that. I guess I will just sign up now and hopefully by next month you will have made the adjustment. Does that sound ok? Unless you prefer I wait?

We recommend just activating the data feed now because the cost is prorated. So you will already be paying a reduced cost for this month anyway.

I decided to sign up for the two week trial first. As far as I can see, for both the $SPX (CBOE Indices) and the $INX (S&P Indices), your intraday historical tick data only goes back six months. Is that correct? Can you confirm this? This is when connected to the SC -- ALL DATA Service. My alternate setup with NinjaTrader/Kinetick gives me about 2 and 1/2 years of historical tick data on the $SPX, which right now is the only reason I'm still using it but I would like to fully migrate to my AMP/CQG/Sierra combo. The CQG data I get on the futures side of this combo gives me almost ten years of historical futures tick data, so I was hoping to get at least 2 and 1/2 years on the cash index side. I definitely need more then just six months of historical tick data on the SP500 index. Would there be any way for me to get that through the Sierra Data Feed? Please let me know, thanks. |
