Hi,
Am opening a chart using sc.OpenChartOrGetChartReference and s_ACSOpenChartParameters. s_ACSOpenChartParameters has only DaysToLoad parameter to control the number of bars to be loaded in newly opened chart. Opening a fresh chart with 1 days bars takes a while to load.
For faster opening / loading of chart, is it possible to open a chart with lets say 20 bars?

Regards

Vivek

You cannot specify the number of bars. Only the number of Days To Load.

Besides looking at bars, is there any way to speed up the download process? Thx

Any negative recourse having multiple historical intraday charts open during trading hrs? Say 25 charts.

In the case of Intraday charts not really because these are loaded on a background thread.

We would just recommend that you have at least a quad core CPU. And if you can get 6 cores that is even better.

You will also want to use a solid-state drive.
