I was running an auto-trading test on 4 futures contracts (using 30 minute delayed quotes) on the CTS T4 service (using my CTS demo account) with Trade Simulation in SC (version 959) set to off. In other words SC was sending my orders to the CTS Sim server. The trade service log showed the following, and one of four profit-target orders could not be cancelled (the other 3 showed in SC as filled). Due to the fact that these were delayed quotes, I am not able to sort out the meaning of the timestamps either in the SC logs or in the CTS T4 application (which I was running simultaneously). CTS T4 Service: Exception caught while converting a CTS T4 order to a SC order for updating: Arithmetic operation resulted in an overflow. | 2013-03-28 10:31:01 CTS T4 Service: Exception caught while converting a CTS T4 order to a SC order for updating: Arithmetic operation resulted in an overflow. | 2013-03-28 10:47:19 CTS T4 Service: Exception caught while converting a CTS T4 order to a SC order for updating: Arithmetic operation resulted in an overflow. | 2013-03-28 11:47:19 CTS T4 Service: Exception caught while converting a CTS T4 order to a SC order for updating: Arithmetic operation resulted in an overflow. | 2013-03-28 12:47:19 |

This is an error from the T4 software itself. We are changing integration method to the T4 system and this will not occur any longer after that. Probably this should be done in about a month from now. We have never seen this error before. What symbol are you trading? Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. After you redo CTS as you have been saying you are going to do, does this mean that the "FastTrade" data delivery option you are currently using will change? (It is my understanding that you will use FIX and not the T4 API) I notice quite a lag recently when there is a heavy data flow, maybe 1 to 2 seconds, and according to the T4 API regarding FastTrade: "Same as FastSmart buffering plus every individual trade is received as well. Should be used sparingly due to high bandwidth and potentially large number of messages being recieved during busy market periods." I'm concerned that this is what is happening, but I have not done a side-by-side comparison with T4 itself to see if the lag is present in both. Will there be some speed difference between the current setup and the new one you are working on? Date Time Of Last Edit: 2013-04-03 18:42:33
