In a new instance, I tried to delete and reload current futures contract data and when I select only one contract to be deleted and reloaded, nothing happens. Can you please take a look into this? Thanks, - Dominik |

There should not be any problem with this. However, refer to the documentation here about this: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_DTCServer.php#HistoricalDataAndMissingData If you still need help, let us know. So, it looks like to maintain data, I have to work through the server instance. Deleting and refreshing on the client instance only refreshes data from server. If that's the case, is it safe to just delete data from Data directory on the server instance and then request data to be deleted and downloaded on the client instance? Thanks |

Yes you could delete the data from the server instance. That is a simple solution. Although we probably will make a change to avoid this kind of problem. We are thinking about the best way to do this. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users.
