Hi SC, I have built an events counter indicator that shows on the chart a count (ie a number different than zero). Yet on a spreadsheet (using spreadsheet study) the column for the counter subgraph has only zeroes, even if the chart is showing a value of 1 or 2. Could you help me understand how can this be possible? I understand the spreadsheet should be showing the values of all subgraphs present in the chart, for as long as the spreadsheet is located at the end of the studies' list, and the other studies do not have low precedence. Thank you |

You need to go through a process of troubleshooting. Remove all studies from the chart. Add the Spreadsheet Study and the Moving Average study. Confirm you see the Subgraph data on the corresponding Sheet. After that, try your own study. If you do not see the data, then compare it to the Moving Average study source code to determine where the problem is. However, it does sound like a study calculation order issue. You will need to figure that out and resolve it. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users.
