how can i get the IB study to plot to the end of the session and not all the way to the start of a new IB on the next day? i have tried overlaying the IB i have on an RTH chart to the ETH chart but i get some funkyness as you can see in the second picture. i would use the "High/Low for Time Period - Extended" study but you then cant plot the IB mid or extensions among other things.

This study is designed to plot from the Initial Balance time all the way up until that same time the next day.

i think that this needs some way to end it from doing that if you want when you have a full session charted. i know the docs point to using the "High/Low for Time Period - Extended" for that but then you lose out on the midline and extensions which are a big part of an IB study.

You can do a Study Subgraphs Average and also extension lines on any study by using the Arithmetic studies:

You can do this with one instance of the Spreadsheet Study study, which can handle all of the lines in the IB study:

1) Put the attached in your Sierra Chart \Data folder.
2) Move your Initial Balance study to the top of the Studies to Graph list, then check Hide.
3) Add the Spreadsheet Study study.
-Set the Chart Region to 1.
-In the Spreadsheet Name field, Select IB display.scss
-Set the 'Chart Data Output Sheet Number to 1.
-Set the 'Formula Source Sheet Number' to 1.
-Set all Draw Styles to Ignore except the lines you want to display.
-Set Draw Styles to Dash on the lines you want to display, and set colors.
-Press OK and OK.
4) On the spreadsheet, Sheet1:
-Set J1 to match the Start Time in your Initial Balance study.
-Set J2 to the display end time.
-You can minimize the spreadsheet.
