Completed agreements, activated "US Equities" and rebooted SC. The new symbols don't appear under "chart settings" and when I go to global settings/data-trade service settings, the "service" button is "grayed" out, won't drop down to select one. So, can't load symbol VXX and need further steps to take. |

You need to use your own Sierra Chart account. This is the one you have logged into this Support Board with. Install Sierra Chart from this page and log in with your Sierra Chart Account Name: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/download.php You cannot use the Sierra Chart provided with TransAct. It does not support this data feed. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. Try to keep your questions brief and to the point. You are running an old version of Sierra Chart. Update Sierra Chart following these instructions here: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/download.php#FastUpdate You can also use TransAct at the same time. There are two different ways this can be done. You can have two separate copies of Sierra Chart which currently is the case. That probably is the simplest way. The copy of Sierra Chart you are running will not interfere with the other copy of Sierra Chart used with TransAct. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Downloaded current version, rebooted, but click on "about" and it still says version 1307. Any thoughts here? |

Unless you require Old Spreadsheets use Help >> Download Current Version-New Spreadsheets.

I opened the SC (updated to latest version)linked to the demo of "US Equities," and then opened my Transact SC version but, but, I only got the scoreboard in my Transact, nothing else opened, no charts, etc. What can I do here? Thx. |

Got both running. What I did was update both SC to latest version. Then, I opened Transact version first, then the SC demo for "US Equities," and they're both running. Thx for demo, unfortunately, 3 of my demo days are a long weekend, Good Friday, markets closed. |

Thanks for that. This VXX has the most volume of any symbol, ever, if I'm reading it correctly.

The highest volume is usually with SPY.

I attempted to locate a broker on your list for VXX. My futures broker, Transact, doesn't offer VXX or VIX (futures). I couldn't find one, except IB. Any others? Lastly, what's the total fee for VXX data? It appears to be 45.50. Thanks again. |

You can look at Gain Capital/OEC or Interactive Brokers. The pricing can be found here: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SierraChartRealTimeFuturesStockDataFeed.php#Pricing The CFE futures is 15.75 USD per month. The data feed is 35 a month. OK we misunderstood. You are referring to the VXX symbol which is part of the US equities exchange. For trading that you would need to use Interactive Brokers. For stock trading we do not recommend anything but Interactive Brokers. The exchange fee for that is 10.50 USD per month. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. So, I wanted to get the VXX thru the "US Equities" package for next month. I only see "Select Service Package" (Package 3), but no place to select which exchange and adding that to the "package." How do I proceed? |

I'm well aware of this. However, it doesn't have an option to add "US Equities." It sounds like you want 2 separate payments but that doesn't make sense. Please advise on the steps needed to add US Equities. Links to webpages really ain't helping fwiw. |

I already did a demo of the package that I want. I would think that when I log-in to "add usage credit," what I already established would be right there, SC Package 3 (if that's correct) and US Equities, then a total for these services and then a button that says "pay for these services with cc ending in 18xx. Then, click. Wouldn't this make sense rather than having to re-enter every time, or did I miss that? |

You need to follow the step-by-step instructions here: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/SierraChartRealTimeFuturesStockDataFeed.php#SetupInstructions The data feed is a separate cost. The pricing is on that page. We have to link to the instructions. The instructions need to be followed step-by-step. You only need to add credit once to the Additional Services Balance and then you can pay for Sierra Chart usage time from that balance and also pay for the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed: https://www.sierrachart.com/usercp.php?page=AddAccountCredit Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. I am purchasing the "US Equities" package for a start date of June 1. In order to get charts and to have a look back at the VXX over past couple of weeks, I would like to know if I could get end of day access to this package if I pay for it now, before June? That is, just have the chart update to the time of log-in, not live data, until June 1. Can you do this? Thanks in advance. |
