Hi,

I am looking for a tool for our company to be able to download LMAX historical data.
Do you offer such tool? does your software have this option? I couldn't login using my lmax account on trial to see that?
Can you give more details please.

You can access the historical data.

Update Sierra Chart to the current version:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/download.php#FastUpdate

Set the Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Service to LMAX Demo Trading - DTC.

Open a chart through File >> Find Symbol.

You can export the data:

I tried many times to connect to lmax server using my account but it is not successful.

I changed the server, but it always say in the logs that it is connecting to ( fix.lmaxtrader.com ) but this is not the correct one, is there a way to change this?

I contacted LMAX and they said that DNS is fix-marketdata.london-demo.lmax.com

But I wasn't able to add this by any chance.

This is the procedure to follow:

1) Client emails info _AT_ lmax.com and requests the following:
  - Please add my account to the Sierra Charts Trading Group.
  - Please provide my LMAX Account ID

2) Client provides their LMAX Account ID to Sierra Charts through an Account Support Ticket:
https://www.sierrachart.com/usercp.php?page=SupportTickets

We then assign your LMAX account ID to your Sierra Chart account which would then allow you to connect to our LMAX market data and order routing server.

This will allow you to receive the market data.

If you do not want to trade through the connection you do not have to.

Hi, Thank you for the information.

After doing this process, will I be able to download historical data for all lmax instruments? is it possible to download them as a bulk without the need to go on each instrument one by one?
The data that will be downloaded will be extracted from lmax servers or sierra servers?
Do you support FXCM also?

Thank you.

You actually have access to the historical data now with LMAX.

What is Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Service set to?

It needs to be set to LMAX Demo Trading-DTC

The data can be downloaded in bulk by using the Associated Watch List and performing a scan:
https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_ChartMenu.html#ScanMenuCommands

The data comes from Sierra Chart servers.

Yes FXCM is also supported. For historical FXCM data, refer to this page:
