Hello. Is there a way to setup bracket ENTRY orders (straddle)? Buy stop when # of ticks above current price (when order is entered) and sell stop when # of ticks below current price (when order is entered)? Then cancel the other parent order when one is filled? Also having child OCO attached to each parent. Any functions for time based entries? I assume we can achieve this buy using seconds chart and enter at next bar for precise seconds. I'm exploring Event driven (News) strategies. Thanks! |

This is supported. Refer to: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_OrderTypes.html#OCOBuyStopSellStop Any functions for time based entries? Thanks for the reply and info. I have been testing the entries on the Dom. Is there a way to create a button on the chart or Dom for oco buy/sell limt/stop order entry? For the Dom I had to right-click somewhere at the left of the price ladder, then select the oco order (bracket). Some use oco (bracket orders) as a straddle to anticipated volatility. If we have go through several steps to place order that would hinder this process. Thanks! |

These order types can also be directly entered from the Trade Window: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_TradeWindow.html#TradeWindow You need to select the Order Type that you want.
