Hi, although the current futures markets are traded 24 hours a day, I like to maintain RTH charts using intraday data because of the different reference levels they deliver. For daily charts, I use the Chart Settings --> Intraday Chart Bar Period --> 1-0-0 (Days-Mins-Secs Per Bar) feature. Unfortunately, I cannot obtain longer timeframe (weekly and monthly) bar charts this way, but I would like to. This is also my request. Thank you |

For longer-term charts use the Continuous Futures Contract feature: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_ContinuousFuturesContractCharts.html Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. I am sorry, maybe I was not able to properly explain what I meant: I know pretty well how to use the Continuous Futures Contract feature and I use it to produce my RTH daily charts, my request is that I need to have RTH weekly and monthly bar charts as well, and this feature does not exist (yet) in SC, as far as I know. Thanks. |
