Percent Change Since Open does not always start at zero on the open

As per the attached chart, I'm finding that the Percent Change Since Open study does not always start at zero on the open. I've attached a chart of F.US.SIEK16 showing:

1. That the study correctly had price starting from zero (9:30 EST) on Feb 24, 25, 26, 29 and March 1 and 2.

2. That price did not start from zero on Feb 19, 22, 23, March 3 and March 4.

I have other charts where I have the same inconsistency, i.e. Gold and the NQ.

I'm using v1375 with CQG data.

Any ideas why this is happening and if there is anything I can do to fix it?

Thank you,
Richard

Thank you for your reply.

I previously followed the instructions in the first link you provided me. That's why I included the start time in my screenshot to show that it was set to 9:30.

I have looked at the 2nd link and not sure what I'm supposed to obtain from the link since this is not a custom study.

I have just spoken to another SC user and he also confirmed that if sets the Days to Load (under Chart Settings) to a number greater than 1, this study becomes all messed up for him too. There seems to be a bug with this study that if you load more than 1 day, some days do not start at zero.

I just tried setting the Days to Load to 1 to see if that fixes the issue. Unfortunately, it does not. I have attached a screenshot showing that SI still starts the day at around 0.65 and not zero.

The documentation here has been updated:

Reload the page for the current content.

We gave you a link relating to modifying the study to meet your requirements. There definitely is no problem with the study whatsoever. It is not messed up.

Thank you for the links. If I'm understanding the updated documentation correctly, it states that the study doesn't start plotting until the Close of the 1st bar. I was expecting that the study would actually start drawing at zero on the Open of the 1st bar and then draw the line to the close of the fist bar and continue from there. If the study uses the open, then it would always start at zero. I don't understand why it doesn't do it this way, but I appreciate you clarifying how it does work.
