Auto Connection to Data Feed Issue with Historical Charts ?

Currently i have set SC not to automatically connect to data feed on program start up and it works fine for all intraday charts but not for historical charts. Historical data automatically downloads itself. Why doesn't that setting apply to historical charts?

More importantly, how do i stop historical charts from automatically connecting and downloading data on program start up until i manually push the button to connect to data feed ?

Many sources of historical data do not require a connection to the primary data feed and the historical data downloading will be done without them.

Typically users require and expect charts to be up-to-date and Sierra Chart will update them at the appropriate time and as soon as possible. If a connection to the main data feed is not needed, then the chart data will be downloaded.

So basically there is not a solution to this. Unless you were to set Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Service to No Service.
