Hello. I'm on SC v 1371

I'm running an indicator which uses ".GetSelectedCustomString().GetChars()" on an input variable, and the outcome is used to set a .Name to a Subgraph (a bunch of subgraphs).

I'm getting some strange behaviour, with the subgraph names taking on random values, like the system time, or even names of studies or subgraphs from other chartbooks open at the time.

After quite a bit of research and debugging, I'm almost certain it's not a programming error - almost certain, it could be indeed a programming error.

Other than that, my conclusion is that there's something wrong with .GetSelectedCustomString() or maybe .GetChars(). Has anyone reported any strange behaviour?

I know SC Engineering offer no help with programming, but would you like me to send you the code to look into this?

We can see why this problem would occur and we are thinking about a solution. Just give us a couple of days.
