Hi My query relates solely to Forex. I'm using the "Bid and Ask Prices" study on a EURUSD-BIDASK chart to create a "tick" chart (i.e. a chart that is updated on each tick) but I'm confused about which Bar Period I should use. Should it be "Range per Bar" set to 1 tick, or "Number of Trades Per Bar" set to 1 tick? And what is the difference between the various "Range per Bar" types, e.g. Standard, True, etc? Thanks in advance. |

You need to use the symbol itself: EURUSD. In this case do not use a data recording suffix. Make sure Sierra Chart is set to a tick by tick data configuration: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_TickbyTickDataConfiguration.php Use this: "Number of Trades Per Bar" set to 1 tick
