With regards to the following section "Saving Images To Your Local Computer [link] - [Top] Saving images locally to your computer is also supported using the following commands on the Edit >> Screen Image submenu" Can there be an option whereby the message log does not pop up every time a screenshot is taken? Or, if I am missing a setting or something, could you please let me know how to do this. Thank you. |

No because the message added is to indicate the image has been saved. You can move the Message Log to the edge of the screen and keep it visible to keep it from opening. I know the message is added to indicate the image has been saved. I can read it. It is also to be indicated to the user is it not, no one else? Now if a user is complaining that it can be quite a hassle, especially if many screenshots are being taken, you could please appreciate that just moving it to the edge of the screen is a very impermanent solution? I.e. I would like to freely screenshot as many times as I want, whenever I want. Hotkey buttons are already assigned, it is just this nuance holding me back. |

+1 to post #3. It is incredibly annoying and interrupting to have the message log pop up every time a screen image is captured. The images taken are beautiful and useful so why ruin this feature with a popup that gets in the way of the charts you are carefully monitoring and distracts your attention from what you need to focus on. I have two monitors and they are fully utilised with information I monitor. I cannot find any way to stop that silly log popping up and getting in front of my open windows. I don't know any other program that has this really annoying habit with its screen capture function |

We are not quite sure how to solve this. It is absolutely necessary that a user is made aware of where the file is being saved to and that the operation completed successfully. We can add an option for this, but is yet another option and it gets to be too many different options. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. +1 (option to not have Screenshots pop up the message log) or at least an option in ACSIL when calling the sc.SaveChartImageToFileExtended() to not force showing the message log It can be quite distracting when screenshots are taken on a regular basis Date Time Of Last Edit: 2022-01-10 14:50:37

Provide us the exact message from the Message Log that causes it to open so we can look at this.
