I think I've got the correct symbol for charting the S&P 500 futures but I'm not sure. I'm trying to get a study to show on my chart and it won't do it. I'm wondering if it's because I've got the incorrect chart posted.

I'm using the symbol: F.US.EPH16 I guess I should add that I'm using CQG Data Service

Is that the right one for the e-mini S & P 500 March futures contract?

That is the correct symbol.

What is the study you are using?

I'm trying to load a study that plots support/resistance zones on the S&P 500 chart. I created an empty file and placed it in C:>SierraCharts>Data. Then I downloaded the data from the proprietary website (it's a file with a *.TXT extension) and put it in the folder in the Data file. Then I went to "Studies" and added the study from the left column to the right column. Clicked on Apply and OK. Reloaded Sierra charts but it's no where to be seen.

Am I doing something wrong?

We see a custom study named "E-mini player" on the chart. We cannot help with that. Contact the developer of that study if you are having problems with that particular study.

I contacted them and they can't figure it out either.
I think I have Sierra Charts installed in two different locations on my computer. could this be the problem?
Maybe I should do an uninstall on both and start over again?

I just noticed that the SC Message Board says that I need a license for the study I'm trying to get to work (which I have) so I'm going to check with the developer again and see what's going on. Thanks.
