vs 1362 I have the "Trade Volume Index" study on my chart. The "Auto Retracement/Projection" Study doesn't work on it. I wouldn't think it would matter if its price or Volume since its just an integer to chart. In my Chart Values Window, it shows it's on the chart, but all values are 0. Settings: Based on =Trade Volume Index Chart region=2 (same as the Trade Volume Index) Value=Inherited Time period=days Time Unit=1 New Period=no Calculation=Automatic Round to nearest tick=no Date Time Of Last Edit: 2016-02-17 03:07:06

Still haven't heard from you regarding the above question. I tried using the Auto Retracement/Projection study on a Cumulative study too, and it doesn't work. Why wouldn't an integer based study or chart not be able to auto retrace? I realize the definition does say "price", but it seems to me a number is a number, 38% of a number is the same whatever the number is from, price volume, etc. The high- low wouldn't change it either.

That study requires High and Low Study Subgraphs at specific indexes to work properly. If you want to use it on another study, we would have add Inputs to set these. We will see about that but this is not a common request. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users.
