Hi,

I have a number of different spreadsheets (alerts & system for trading) linked to different charts in different chartbooks. What I am finding is that when I switch between chartbooks both the location and the size of the spreadsheet windows are not being saved (I have multiple screens). No matter how many times I re-size and relocate a spreadsheet study window and save it (save-all or save-as) when I switch between chartbooks the spreadsheet window reverts back to it's old size and location. Is there a way I can permanently save the size//location as I switch between chartbooks quite often.

Regards

OK... I don't know why I didn't think of this before posting but if you manually re-size the box by dragging and expanding the edges of the box it saves the re-sized window when you "save-all;" so the problem seems to be isolated to when you "maximise" window option (top right of windows) which when used the location and size of the maximised windows are not saved. This manual re-sizing works fine for me.

After some testing we do not see any problem with the saving of the size and position of Spreadsheet Windows.

Spreadsheets are saved when you select File >> Save All.

Hi,

I put together a simple video to show you the behaviour.
1) The defaultspreadsheetstudy (will just abbreviate to SS) is at the default size, I maximise the window so SS fills the entire screen and the switch to a chartbook with forex charts.
2) When I go back to the chartbook containing the SS you can see in the video that it reverts back to it's default size.
3) I then resize the SS window manually be dragging the sides to fill the screen and the switch to a chartbook with forex charts.
4) When I go back to the charbook containing the SS you can see the window keeps it's size which was manually adjusted.
5) I then re-size manually back to something like default size - again when I maximise and switch between chartbooks, upon coming back the SS is no longer maximised but reverts back to it's old size - similar to 1) 2) above.

When I save-all on a manually adjusted SS it saves the windows size. When I maximise the window instead, the new size is not saved and reverts to default size.

As I said in post #2 I am happy to manually resize but it seem like odd behaviour.

I am running windows 8.1.

Thank you for the video, it helped make the issue clear. This should be fixed for maximized detached spreadsheet windows in the next release.
