Hi, I am using IB as my datafeed and I'm getting Symbol is unknown for CSCO and GLD. Other symbols are ok. Any idea how to fix this? Symbol Error - (unknown symbol with ID 100001) is unknown, unavailable, or improperly formatted. | 2016-02-12 10:47:46 Symbol Error - GLD is unknown, unavailable, or improperly formatted. CSCO-STK or CSCO-STK-SMART didn't work but adding /[Exchange] worked but then then i can't place a trade. Thanks. Just one of these problems with Interactive Brokers. They are a complete mess in this regard. Interactive Brokers symbology is very complicated and there are a lot of associated problems.
