Spreadsheet Study - referencing data from smaller time frame charts

Hi SC, I have a Trading System spreadsheet study on a 15 minute chart. A signal present in for example the 20:00 bar executes at 20:15:00. I would like to reference data from a 1 minute chart, specifically data from the 20:13 and 20:14 1 minute bars. This is not possible via the Study Price Overlay (it can't overlay the appropriate bars). Referencing another sheet within the spreadsheet would solve the problem, but you do not recommend it, because data does not update when using cell referencing. Assuming there is no solution for this, bringing this up as something to consider for future Sierra Chart iterations. Thank you. |

You really need to do this with ACSIL which is capable of supporting this easily: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_ACSILRefOtherTimeFrames.php But of course you can try referencing another another Sheet in the Spreadsheet containing the 1 minute data, but just realize there difficulties with this.
