Incorrect Date and/or Time Display, Missing Historical Intraday Data, Chart Not Updating Hi, I have downloaded NTP, synced clocks and restarted. Still having issues syncing my clocks as the trade log is still producing non-synced clocks. I also have not been able to find Select Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings. You may see an option named Timestamp Using Local Computer Clock. Please advise. |

We do not know what this means. Also, if you know that your computers clock is properly synchronized to an Internet timeserver which uses an atomic clock, then you can be certain that the timestamps are correct in the Trade Activity Log. If you do not see " Timestamp Using Local Computer Clock. ", then it does not exist for the particular Data or Trading service you are using. That particular line that you are showing, it is not unusual to have a difference of 1 second simply due to network and processing delays. Which Sierra Chart does not make any correction for. If it is more than 3 seconds, that could be a concern. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. Is there any way to sync it so that this can be completely avoided?

What problem are you having? Just because the message indicates a difference of 1 second, that is not a concern.

Yes I understand this. I would like to have SC time aligned w/ IB's time, as when looking at trades and positions versus IB's trade log they are different times. Is there anyway to align or sync via source code or any other methods? |
