Hello.

How do I get this study to show different colors in the background depending on whether the condition is true or false.

I have a condition formula, and now I get the study to paint the background green if that formula is True.

When the formula is false, the background is plain white.

Is there a way I can get the background to become Red for example when the formula evaluates to False?

Thanks in advance.

P.S. I'm drawing the study in its own region below the main graph, so I get a strip of green as long as the condition is True.

You need to use multiple instances of the study to use more than one color. There is no other way.

So you would have to reverse the logic of the other instance of the study to color the background differently.

Hello.

I've managed to find a solution, but I have another somewhat related question.

Whenever the alert evaluates to True, the Study's name is highlighted in RED and a "!" appears next to the Study name, as in the picture here in the documentation (http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_StudyChartAlertsAndScanning.php#GeneralInformation).

By default, the highlight is RED. Is there a way to change this to a different color? I've checked in Graphics settings, but the only option there relates to alerts in a Quoteboard.

Thanks.

There really should be a separate color setting for this and we will do that. But it is the "Net Change Down" color currently.
