Will not connect to real time data, but will update charts when disconnecting/reconnecting

Hi there, Just joined up today. Have CME clearance for data feed+1 month of charts+SC data feed paid for. Have Interactive Brokers trading account. Open charts up and all data is downloaded, can see 30 days worth of volume/numbers/tick data/volume etc, and receive "symbol is unknown. Click for symbol information." The symbol is exactly what SC says it should be. And price/volume/all data is downloaded and accurate at the moment of connection but then stops immediately. Not sure if problem is with SC or Interactive Brokers. Thing is it half works and half doesn't-if it refused to load/show any data then that would make more sense! I have gone into the IB global settings and added the extra port.
