I frequent this board just to get ideas and learn more about SC. I occasionally see basic questions to which I know the answer. Is it ok to answer those questions or is this frowned upon? I wouldn't want to turn a thread into a "User Discussion" if the person would rather speak to SC support. Thanks.

There is not a clear answer on this.

Often when a question or request is unanswered and that question/request is within the scope of our support, it is generally an interference when other users answer it before we do. So we definitely do dislike that.

But there are some more advanced usage questions where our answer may not be very detailed and other users offering their help, is generally welcome.
