Not sure if it's even possible, but it would be handy to be able to close a chartbook by either:

- middle clicking the mouse on the tab (similar to a web browser)
- have a little 'x' on the right of the tab
- both

Thanks for all you do!

The "x" to the right of the tab would be nice. +1

We would not add this. Chartbooks are not meant to be easily closed.

We might possibly add a shortcut menu command to the chartbook tabs with a Close Chartbook menu command. But we recommend that you use the Close Chartbook Control Bar button:

Having the options I recommended is not making it easier to close per se. Just more convenient.

When you go to close a chartbook, it would still prompt you to save the chartbook at which point you could cancel and stop the closing of the chartbook, which really isn't any different than what you suggested.

Having a keyboard shortcut would be an improvement but still would prefer the option suggested.

I already have the button on my toolbar but when you have a high res screen and 30+ chartbooks open, that is a very inconvenient option.

I work with 30 pairs at a time. There is a real use case here. Having this ability really would make SC a better experience.

Please reconsider this request.

A keyboard shortcut is already supported. You just need to set one up for that command:
