The close of an end of day chart (historical data) of the Dax Future seems to be the Settlement Price. As the Last Price (when the Eurex closes (~ 22:00 german time) is of much more importance in regards to trading, is there a way to also get / show the Last Price in a historical chart? It would be VERY helpful if the data provider would deliver the Last Price (too / instead). Please do let them know. Thank you! |

The only solution that we can offer is to recommend to use an Intraday chart to create the Daily bars. The instructions for this are documented on the " Chart Session Times" page: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_SessionTimes.php Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Yes, I'm using this solution when looking at a rather small history. It's not useful though when looking at a longer term history. Why isn't it possible to also get/receive the Last Price and choose in the Chart Settings which Close (Settlement Price or Last Price) to use in the chart? If the data provider is not able or willing to deliver the Last Price (have you asked?), wouldn't it be possible to "take" the Last Price from the intraday data file and "implement" it into the historical data file? Just some thoughts ... |
