Hello - When receiving alerts would it be possible to timestamp all data points in the spreadsheet that would be attributed for that alert and have that included in the email alert itself?

Alert - Chart: AAPL [M] 1 Sec #1 | Study: AlertStudy | Formula: Buy Entry at row 3 is TRUE. | Last Price: 98.48 | Bar Start Time: 2016-01-08 09:47:47 | Alert: AlertSound (1) This is an alert that I would receive, it would be a nice to have if along with these data points I could also look at the existing data point in my spreadsheet that allowed me to enter the trade itself. For instance if an RSI value was a data point it would be nice to see that value at the time of alert. Make sense? |

This can be done by using ACSIL and adding your own custom Alert Messages: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_ACSIL_Members_Functions.html#scAddAlertLine Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. The link that we gave in the previous message is incorrect. We need to do some documentation updates and we will give you the correct function in a moment. This is the function to use to do what you want: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_ACSIL_Members_Functions.html#scPlaySound Not only will it play a sound, but can also send an email message associated with a particular Alert Number. That is something that you have to do. If this is not obvious, we recommend that you hire a programmer to do this. We do not provide programming help. We had thought this was rather basic what you wanted to do, but then we realized that you probably want to reference study data from an ACSIL study function to create an Alert Message. So here is the documentation for referencing another study on the chart: https://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/doc_ACSILProgrammingConcepts.html#UsingStudyData But this is about all the help we can provide, we cannot provide any specific code.
