OK - got it - tks. guys.!...got a new one for ya now - wondering if I should use a continuation of this email to go to another situatioin...Anyway, here goes...If I s/b starting a new ticket for this plse. let me know for future Reference..tks.. When Using the Chart Settings Session Times: I Want to use Both the Evening and RTH sessions, but getting them to align with one another is Not going to well...I went into Studies and fixed the Letters the way I'd like to use them - ABCDEFGHIJKLMNPQRSTUVWX - but when I go to Chart Settings and the Session Times area, no matter What Time numbers I put into the boxes, I can't seem to get the Sessions to begin with the Proper Letters.....i.e. A through N for the RTH (I'm Pacific Time Zone) and A through the Rest of the available Letters...I Also Tap the Use Evening Session, the New Bar at Session Start, and the Load SundayData..., plse tell me there is a Simple solution to this that I am apparently overlooking so I can begin to effectively use this combine...tks guys.!. |

unless I'm missing something (possible) can't get the Evening Session to Begin With the letter A...Have done everything explained in All the above..Set Times for West Coast (L.A.), on Both Global Settings and Advanced Chart Settings...Gave a Yes to Letters Always Start at Primary Session Start in the TPO Studies>>Settings and Inputs...must have something to do with the Session Times Set in Chart Settings>>Main Settings...?...06:30-Start,13:15-End...Use Evening Session Checked, 15:00-Start, 06:29-End...

If you also want the Evening Session TPO letters to also begin at letter A, it is necessary to define and enable the Evening Times in the Session Times for the chart. And it is necessary to change the "TPO Letter Sequence" so that the letter which corresponds to the beginning of the evening session in the letter sequence, is set to A and the letters that follow it are set to what you require. To determine what letter that is, you need to divide the time range from the primary session Start Time to the Evening Start Time by the "TPO Letter/Block Time Period Length in Minutes". This will give you the index into the array of letters that you need to change. Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support. Other responses are from users. OK - got the ltr. sequence in place...Now for the Ltr. Coloring...I need to have the Same Color Throughout the Entire Letter...And, am not sure exactly how that works...I Get the various 1-18 Colors on the letters Outside the 70% range of the overall value...but everything else is white - except for ltr. beginings and the TPO highlight color...tks..

We do not understand this. We need to see an image of the TPO chart and try to explain this as clearly and as simply as possible what you are referring to in that chart. Provide an image of the chart, by following these instructions: http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=PostingInformation.php#Image Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
