Dear Support, I have a multiple monitor setup. I have multiple forex chartbook tabs setup simultaneously and I jump back and forth among them. Each chartbook features either different time frames or different tick frames for one currency pair. The next chartbook features multiple time or tick charts for a different currency pair. When I have chartbook number 1 open on monitor number 1 I can successfully detach, for example, 30 minute chart number 1, and move it to monitor number 2. However, when I change to chartbook number 2, the detached chart disappears until I return to chartbook number 1. I realize I can create an additional 30 minute chart number 2 for any currency pair within chartbook number 2 and detach it to monitor number 2. That way, when I change from EURUSD time charts featured in chartbook number 1 to USDJPY tick charts in chartbook number 2, I could create a 30 minute EURUSD chart within USDJPYchartbook number 2, and then detach the 30 minute EURUSD chart number 2 and place it onto monitor number 2. That way, when on chartbook numbers 1 or 2 I will still have a EURUSD 30 minute chart displayed on monitor number 2. The problem arises that A.) I'd rather not have to create many different 30 minute EURUSD charts, one for every chartbook pair created. and B.) I'd like to be able to create just one EURUSD, resize it and draw channel lines and text notes etc. on the fly, and have those notes and drawings remain on display without having to re-size it, re-draw lines and re-write text notes, etc.. Is there a way to create, for example, one semi-permanent EURUSD 30 minute chart which remains on monitor number 2 without regard to which chartbook I have opened for viewing on monitor number 1 please? Happy holidays to you and thanks in advance for the advice. William "Sandy" Awty |

Also, there is no need to provide all of the details you did. It was not clear to understand since we could not visually see what you are referring to.

One idea is just to open another instance of Sierra Charts on your other monitor..
