When I apply Spreadsheet Study/Alert for AUDCHF 30min interval, I noticed that the system retrieves data only for a period from 2013-04-14 till Today. I went to Chart Settings to download more data and see AUDCHF 30 min Chart since the Jan 2013, >>> so I changed "Days to Display / Load" to 250....but still it does not load more....It is still limited to that same period.

Why do we have this limitation for AUDCHF 30 min interval? Please, note...this is not the case for all currencies....Say for EURAUD 30 min...data gets loaded from 2012-11-19...why is this case?

You need to increase the Number of Rows study input setting:

If there is not enough data in the chart itself, then refer to help topic 42.1 here:

Hi,

Just to return to this topic. I am subscribed to SC Forex Data (FXCM) data. For USDJPY 30min interval: Date Range in File is prescribed as 2013-03-10 to 2013 -09-13 when we go to chart settings. Does that mean there is no way I can download more data for USDJPY chart? I do not quite understand how I can download more data for USDJPY intraday / 30min data. Any chance to help pls?

What you have instructed me to do, does not seem to be working. Does that mean Sierra Charts does not provide data for USDJPY beyond 2013-03-10? Or am IO doing anything wrong? Can you please double check if you managed to download data on the chart beyond that point of time....? You help, time and attention is greatly appreciated!!! Thanks very much

You are missing a step. There is data available for several years. Follow ALL the steps here in help topic 42.1:
http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?l=doc/helpdetails42.html

You probably did not re-download the data (Edit >> Delete All Data and Download) or increase the Maximum Number of Historical Intraday Days to Download.

Ok. I got it! Basically, here is a trick. You need to set Days to Display / Load in Chart Settings and Max Historical Intraday Days to Download in Data/Trade Service Setting to be the SAME! or say 300 days...both of them. And it loaded all the data. If the number of days is different...it does not load anything...Once loaded, you can go and change the number of days you wanna really display....It is strange but this is the way it worked...I followed all the steps. Thanks much

They do not have to be the same. However, the Maximum Historical Intraday Days to Download in Data/Trade Service Settings needs to be set high enough and set to the number of days that you require. However, not the same as the setting in Chart Settings. That is most definitely not necessary.

You must have missed a step to re-download the data or did not select the right command.
