A suggestion for you to consider...

Modifying the quoteboard capabilities, so it may display detailed alerts information linked to study alerts present in charts?

Like iRT does.

If I were to switch permanently to iRT, that will be one of the two main reasons.

Attaching an example.

An issue I experience with the current alert manager is that it lists all alerts. It would be very useful if the alert manager could filter which alerts to display.

Please allow me to illustrate. I look at at great number of instruments, in multiple time frames, and have multiple signals on all. Therefore the alerts manager is populated by such a large number of signals that it becomes almost useless. I like to see all those signals show up on the chart, while they develop, but would only want a handful of those signals present on the alert manager.

Could achieve that by adding a filter function to the alert manager, or by adding the "show alert on alert manager" option to every study.

This is a thing I'd be willing to pay for (for the cost of developers), depending on the cost. Could also look for other interested users.

There could be filters for Alert Type, Symbol, chart, Date-Time range.

We could add some of this.

That would be great.

Could you also add to the Alert Manager an "always visible" option? (as other windows have)
At the moment, when the instance associated with the Alert Manager is minimized, the Alert Manager disappears.

Thank you

We will be reviewing this as soon as we can and we will get back to about the cost.

We will make a note to add an Always on Top option to the Alerts Manager.

all this would be really cool--especially if you had a continuous sort on the custom alert columns

No chance on the continuous sort. Please do not ask for that. Things like that are complex to implement and detrimental to performance.

What are you referring to specifically?

You need to understand, we have a huge amount of tasks to do. We would not expect anything to be done for more than a year from now.

Regarding the cost of adding filtering to the Alerts Log, that is going to be 700 USD but we do not have any time to do this.

It is quite involved.

My suggestion is a little different---I would use a column in a QuoteBoard as the alert trigger destination---the alert column name in the QB would be predetermined by the custom name selected when the alert is built within the chart---maybe use the "Short Name" plus time frame of the chart and would show up in the "Set Field" for the QB columns. When the alert condition is triggered that cell in the QB will turn whatever color, a popup and/or alert manager.

I have to go over my charts frequently through out the day to see what alerts have been triggered----it would be really cool to just look at the QB instead.

I realize the time constraints....you have a really good thing going as it is...Thx.. Cy

Hi,

I think the original idea was to have separate columns in the alert manager for
different chart period alerts??? If this is the case let me know---I would be willing
to split the fee with the other user.

Thx

Cy

At this time we do not have anytime available for this development.

It will not be until towards the end of the year.

rhovega

were you able to set up a similar alert dashboard in SC Quoteboard or Study Summary as your i/RT pic, with multiple timeframe conditions consolidated by instrument, if so how?
