Hello
Let me clarify.
I have a FIX account with FXCM ( For example ).
I know the Data Prices goes from fxcm servers to sierra chart server and after to my VPS.
If I put "TradeStation II" from fxcm ( this API connection have low refresh rate tick versus FIX tick update prices ) then I see for example peaks of 1000 tick per minute. ( 17 tick average per second ) .
But In SierraChart, via FIX to FXCM "Its appear" not so fast update of tick prices.
So, the question its, are there some filter on SC servers to limit fast tick updates? The tick updates from fxcm pass directly to my VPS ? If FXCM send 2000 ticks in 1 minute, will I receive in my VPS such 2000 ticks ?

Thanks in advance!

There is no filtering of the FXCM data. And we do not see any reason why FIX would provide more or less price updates compared to other data feed APIs FXCM has.

Once again there is no filtering.

So if there are 2000 bid/ask updates, they will be received by Sierra Chart clients.

We did discover a problem about a week ago from one of our servers were it was sending double the number of updates because it had been combining 2 FXCM data feeds. Not totally sure how long that was going on for, but it might have been a month or two. It is not something that would have been generally noticeable.
